What is going on with the branding of our country's famous names? First we have Standard Life becoming Aberdeen Standard Life and now just "abrdn" Now Prudential have turned themselves into an orange square and become "part of M&G" That's like Ford becoming "part of SSangyong" in my head. I wonder how these marketing people get away with it. Emperor's new clothes springs to mind. Don't get me started on Zurich becoming "Advance by Embark" what's that all about?

Don't just stay alert to the dangers of virus. These scam emails are on the increase. Always check the email address to validate the source. HMRC never collects payment

I just had a very convincing series of calls from a person pretending to be a bailiff and another an enforcement officer. They claimed I owed money from a verbal contract with an advertising firm. They said an officer would be at my house by 5pm unless I agreed to settle.

The bailiff directed me to the government register of bailiffs to check he was legitimate. He sent over an email with payment details to settle a bill of £2800.

I read this and when they called back told them what to do with their CCJ.
