Good news for . A new report has revealed that Peterborough is catching up with in terms of economic growth and regional importance. The latest 'State of the Region' report. The city has recorded business growth of 32.3 per cent since 2017-18 — the highest of any local authority area in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and significantly ahead of the regional average - and, unlike Cambridge, property is affordable. Peterborough ranks 30th (out of 63) on the Affordability Index, whereas Cambridge ranks as the second-least affordable, behind London. With business innovation, tourism, and manufacturing all growing, the future looks bright.
