Today we celebrate 25 years of HH Mortgage Consultancy, a huge milestone for our family business.
Helene started her banking career in July 1973 at the age of 17, she had various roles over the years with the latter being in mortgages.
She enjoyed this very much however the expectations of the company were too much, they didn’t understand the geography of Scotland and wanted her to have an appointment in Glasgow in the morning and Aberdeen in the afternoon.
This is when Scott, her husband, my dad said “why not start your own business” and that is how HH Mortgage Consultancy was born.
Helene left the bank and worked in SSE for 6 months whilst building the business, during this time she also began to start a client base.
We have grown from strength to strength over the years, Helene never had to advertise, she grew the business through word of mouth recommendations which is testament to the wonderful job she did for her clients.
Helene took great pride in the advice she gave her clients and loved being able to find the most appropriate solution for their individual circumstances. The testimonials below from a few of her long standing clients show how much her advice has meant.
