The Oxford Finance Society is a University-based organisation that provides information on the role of the financial services sector and related fields. With the goal “to provide our members with the foundation skills and relationships to develop successful financial careers”, OFS is open to anyone in the university, the society aims to cater to anyone with an interest in the finance industries. B

y establishing links with financial firms, both small and large, the Society aims to provide information about key firms and contacts within this sector to those interested in entering the world of finance. With over 3,500 members, we assist those firms by providing a platform from which to progress their graduate recruitment programs, inspire potential recruits, and hopefully fulfil our members career aspirations. Furthermore, we also aim to bring students with interests in the finance industry together. With these aims in mind, the Oxford Finance Society hosts a wide range of events every term. These range from insightful and specific lectures, high-profile speaker events, workshops (such as CV and interview clinics), to networking events (such as company firm-wide presentations before internship deadlines). This range of events provides an invaluable service to anyone with career aspirations in the City, and has won OFS great popularity as one of the largest societies within the University.

He co-founded Xoom (IPO 2013; acquired by PayPal for $1.1B) and Eventbrite, which went public in 2018. As an early-stage investor, he has supported companies including PayPal, Airbnb, Uber, Pinterest, Palantir, SpaceX, Square, Reddit, Carta, Ramp, and Anduril.

Currently Co-Founder and GP at A*, Kevin partners with outlier founders from idea to IPO. He also serves as Co-Founder & Chairman of Sauron and sits on the Board of Trustees of the California Academy of Sciences.
