May is National Walking month, which fits rather nicely with it also being National Mental Awareness Week (9th - 15th May). Being out in the fresh air, taking in the views, listening to the incredible bird song, meeting people.
I am back to very early morning walks which I love. It's a fantastic way to start the day. This happens every day for me, and my Ted, not just in May. Get out there and get some steps in. Not right now mind...it's 11.30pm!

What have I learnt this week? That I need to listen to my own advice and outsource what is slowing me down. Having huge "a-ha" moments this week, recognising that as much as I do everything, it does not mean everything is being done to its best.

Aged Receivables Reports.

When was the last time you ran one and took a look at what's outstanding? We absolutely encourage clients before we engage to run an Aged Receivables Report and look at every line. This is our base line of where we start to assist.

How old your oldest outstanding invoice is?

Do you know the reasons why you have overdue invoices?

Admin day today. Work processes, accounts, a couple of “hello's” to clients. And a quick post on here.

For my business to continue to provide you with the support that you need it is expanding. Your success as my client is always at the front of my mind and I will always champion you.

I would like to thank all those that applied for the part time position I posted last week. I have received quite a quantity of applications that I have been going through today. The position is now closed.

I am a VA who specialises in Credit Control, based in North Oxfordshire. I cover clients UK wide with the assistance of cloud technology.
I am expanding my business and am looking for someone freelance to who I can outsource to as well as work with.
Ideally a confident person who is experienced with the workings of Microsoft Office applications and social media platforms. I require assistance with admin and Credit Control. I offer training in Credit Control if you have no experience of this.
Your own laptop is required to enable you to work remotely at my home office if/when required.
Initially a few hours a week building up as the business continues to grow.

There is going to be an upturn, are you ready for when this happens?
What has made you change in order to continue trading? Have you made changes to keep things flowing or due to staff being are you and those who remain working juggling way too much?

When the upturn comes, be ready. Get things in place NOW if they are not already. It will happen. If your business provides a service that you know will be in demand as soon as any kind of normality returns, be ready to hit the floor running.

You can do anything, but not everything.

Delegate. Outsource. Use your time wisely. Add skill sets and complement your business as well as free up your time to do what you need to do.
You’ll wonder why on Earth you never did this before.

We are now getting into the grove of home working, right? Settling into routines of what works around home schooling, family, home, office hours.
