Branch Update – Beeston 📢

We've got some exciting news for our Beeston members.

Our Beeston branch will be closed from Saturday 14 November to Monday 23 November while we carry out rebrand works 🎨

During this time, members are welcome to visit our Long Eaton, Nottingham City or West Bridgford branch.

We'll reopen on Tuesday 24, and we can't wait to welcome you back to a newly refreshed branch.

The Cash ISA is saved! 👏

In light of today's Autumn Budget, here's a few words from our Head of Savings, Larry Chan:

"Today's decision to leave the full Cash ISA allowance in place is great news for savers who value certainty and flexibility. It keeps a vital savings habit within reach for people building towards a first home, setting aside a buffer for unexpected costs or looking for a clear and dependable return on the money they have worked hard to save."

Today, we have launched The Doorstep Divide, our new research into why people with variable income, a limited credit history, or a past life event can feel the door to homeownership is closed before they have even applied.

Two thirds of UK adults say people with variable or irregular incomes find it harder to get a mortgage. We believe responsible lending can look at the full picture, without lowering standards.

Student Night success! 🎓

A couple of weeks ago, our City branch took part in Student Night hosted by It's in Nottingham.

Our branch colleagues loved meeting students, parents and people from across the city, handing out a few prizes on our spin-the-wheel and having some positive conversations about saving for the future 💚
