Working for a family-run business means something different.
It means being able to leave early to support your wife with a screaming newborn - without guilt.
It means being seen as a whole person, not just a job title.
It means flexibility, empathy, and trust — because the people leading the business understand what it means to put family first.
In contrast, at some massive corporations, it can feel like you're just a number — where life outside the office is often expected to wait.
I believe the two shouldn't be in conflict.
You can be ambitious and be present at home.
You can build a career without sacrificing the moments that matter.
That's the difference when your company's culture is built on family values — not just profit margins.
