Stamp Duty Cut Included in Mini-Budget 🙌🙌🙌🎉🎉🎉

Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT)
The Chancellor has permanently changed the 0% threshold on SDLT, increasing it from £125,000 to £250,000.

For first-time buyers (FTB), the 0% threshold will increase from £300,000 to £425,000. The property value cap for the relief now applies to properties with a value up to £625,000, formally £500,000.

These changes take effect immediately and “mean 200,000 more people will be taken out of paying stamp duty altogether”, according to Kwarteng.

This long overdue reform intends to prevent the housing market from stagnating; however, it’s unlikely to provoke the same frenzy of activity and rocketing house prices as the 2020 SDLT holiday.

Ultimately, the maximum saving for purchasers will be £2,500. There are no changes to the 3% surcharge on buy to let and second-home properties.

RIP so sad thanks for all your years of service the queen of queens x

Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.
