Last cake collected, means we're officially on holidaaaaaay, no more cakes! 🤣🥳🥰

Sneaky little peak at another Jellycat inspired cupcake box with the help of AI making the photo brighter and clearer 😍

Let's do a cheeky little giveaway for a set of these beauties, since my last box posted, they've become very popular 🥐🥦🐳

Here's a mixture of George's personalities in 1 video, when he's just walked into seeing my finished fairy cake, which took an hour to decorate! 🥹🤣

There's a genuine WOW, then a jokey comment and a high 5! 🥲🙈

A few collections today and then we're off for 10 days and it is very much needed 🤍

Working from home has its own challenges. I've shared before, I find it hard to say no to people and not to feel guilty when I’m not working, even when I know I need to switch off. When your home is also your workplace, it can feel like you should always be doing something, I know other makers feel the same! 😅

My carpal tunnel has really been flaring badly too, with lots of pins and needles in my right wrist, which is a reminder that I can’t keep pushing through everything!

So, 10 days to slow down, recharge, yes please!

I'll still be posting some posts as this week has had a few beauties and replying to messages, just may be a little slower than usual! 🥹🥰

Here's to some lay ins! 🤣

You guys got me all emotional over here! 😭😍

All these tags of recommendations on one post of someone looking for a cake maker, my heart can't actually take it! 🥰

Friends, long term customers and even a cake maker tagging me, I'm fully blown away! 🩷

There's tons of makers out there, but for so many to tag me, it blows me away!

Thank you so much 🥹

6 cakes done today, boshed them out in just over 3 hours! 😍🎂💪🏽

I still remember when my very first cake took me 8 HOURS to do, scraping and scraping until I got it "ok"! Still hated it! 😂😭

Now look at me go…! 🧁😂

Practice really does make progress! 🥹❤️

One of the best bonus parts of having a cake business is the business swaps! 🥰

I love being able to support other small businesses while swapping skills, services and goodies on the way! 💖

Some of the amazing swaps I’ve had are -

🐶 Doggy photography - Jess Wilkins Photography - Newborn & Family Photographer
🤎 Eyebrows - Gemma Bee Cosmetics
💅 Nails - Blossom Beauty - Norwich
💇‍♀️ Hair - Tegan Allen
☕ Personalised cups - Gifted by Tiegan-May
🎨 Painting
🪑 Furniture from gumtree 😂
🍰 Cake - Thecakemaid, Baked Bliss, The Accidental Baker, Mari's Bakes
👕 Personised Clothing - Ollie & Millie's
🧽 Cleaning -
🏊 Swimming passes
🎈 Balloons - Not just balloons Norfolk
💙 Nely Hand Car Wash - He has a massive poster there for me
🥹 - Printed my signs

It’s such a lovely way to support each other, save some money and get to try out other people’s amazing businesses! 🫶🏼

Do you have a small business and like the idea of a doing swap? 👀

Whether you offer a service, make something handmade or have a business you think might be a good match, I'm always up for a chat!

Let’s support each other and spread the small business love 🩷🎂

This beautiful engagement cake is exactly this a business swap! 🥰 Exchange for a cheeky little home freshen up whilst we're away in November celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary and just before the Christmas decorations go up, I'm pretty hot on cleaning but I'm looking forward to it as I've neverrrrr ever had a cleaner before 🥹
