I was going through some comments for one of the serviced accommodation that I own and realised that someone pointed out that the kettle had limescale. Last week, when I was at the property, I tried to remove it with some white vinegar. However, I then realised that someone had burnt the bottom of the kettle. I am not really sure what happened there.
I removed the old kettle and bought a new one.

While I was there, I also arranged for all portable appliances to be tested.
This is a legal annual requirement for all serviced accommodation units.

In addition to that, I removed a few weeds that were cropping up.
It is a lot easier to keep weeds under control when you do this exercise on a monthly basis.

Back in March, the energy provider for one of my properties made me aware that the meter was faulty.
Last week, an engineer came round to replace it.

I had a busy couple of days this week in the North East. My first stop was at my flat, where the ceiling had collapsed. The second quote was submitted a couple of weeks ago. That should satisfy all the insurance requirements.
I also assessed that the walls are now finally dry.
I am awaiting confirmation from my builder on when he can start the work.



After a well deserved rest, I hit the road and drove up to check on my properties. Also, I wonder what my investment are...
