Is this the most modded bespoke custom we've ever done?

This customer, Dan, has an impressive collection of guitars already and came to us with a crystal clear vision that combined the best parts of his curated lot.

This started as a Graduate 60 with the addition of a Floyd Rose Bridge. Then we took it up a notch with comfort carves and neck heel contour, a stunning Tamo Ash top, and Lollar Imperial pickups and Seymour Duncan Triple Shot pick up rings to give you just about every sound under the sun.

To top it all off, we created a heavily scalloped fingerboard based on Dan's references.

This won't be the first you see of Dan's wonderfully creative mind! Watch this space for more of Dan's creations coming soon.

26/27 Stock Range highlight.

The GS1-60 Legacy is a Gordon Smith time machine.

This is what happens when you take the spirit of a well loved, well used GS1-60 that’s been gigged, sweated on, knocked about and played hard for decades, then build it with the level of consistency and finish we achieve here in Rushden.

It’s stripped right back to the essentials a 38mm mahogany body, mahogany neck, thick profile, ebony fingerboard, wrapover bridge and a single black dog ear P90. No fuss, no unnecessary extras, just a loud, lively, unapologetically fun guitar that feels like it already has a few stories to tell.

The full nitro checked relic finish gives it that properly played in look and feel, while the relic hardware, black guard and classic speedster k***s keep everything in the right world visually. Available in TV Yellow and Vintage White, it sits right in that sweet spot between old school attitude and Gordon Smith build quality.

Today is the day! The 26/27 Gordon Smith Guitars Stock Range has landed!

The new 26-27 Stock Range has been shaped by the Gordon Smith community: the players who visit us, message us, order through the bespoke programme, gig our guitars, and tell us what they want to see next.

Over the last couple of years, we’ve seen certain specs, pickup combinations, finishes and layouts come up again and again. So rather than keeping those ideas tucked away in bespoke builds, we’ve brought a lot of them into the new stock range.

Some models return with a few carefully chosen updates, some models carry forward in a slightly different direction, and some now sit alongside new Deluxe versions.

Every model is still handcrafted right here in the UK — combining the individuality and quality Gordon Smith is known for with a stock range designed to be more available than ever.

Holy Ombré!

We see a lot of lovely bursts, but fewer of these fades - but wow does it stand out on this Flame Maple Chevron cap.
