📱 A quick update for anyone paying by Google Pay or Apple Pay in our app:

If you're getting an error trying to pay, here's the fix:

🤖 Android: Update the Variety app to the latest version via the Google Play Store.

🍏 iPhone: Delete the app and reinstall it from the App Store (a normal update won't pick up the change — it needs a fresh install).

Once updated, Google Pay and Apple Pay will work as normal. Sorry for the hassle — and as always, get in touch if you're still having trouble!

From Tuesday 1st September, we're launching a new, even easier way to pay into your Christmas savings account.

Here's what's new:

💳 Pay by debit card, Google Pay or Apple Pay
🖥️ Everything happens right here on our website — no more being redirected elsewhere
✅ Same easy login and payment steps you're used to

The payment portal will be unavailable on Monday 31st August from 8pm until midnight whilst the system switches over.

The first change you'll notice is to online payments. From 1st September, our payment page will be right here on our website, instead of taking you elsewhere to pay. It's a genuine, planned upgrade – so no need to worry, it's not a scam!

It's part of a bigger upgrade to our systems, bringing you recurring payments plus Apple Pay and Google Pay support, with more improvements to come. 🎉
