We were delighted to attend the launch of the Newry Agricultural Show last night in the Canal Court Hotel & Spa as one of the Gold Sponsors.

We heard from the following guest speakers:-

✳️ Ailbhe McCusker (On behalf of Share Energy)

The chosen charity for this years show is Pulmonary Fibrosis NI.

We finished the evening with a lovely supper.

Almost a wrap for another week & great to see the ☀️

On Tuesday, the team were treated to a Pizza Lunch which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

As part of our Health & Wellbeing Programme, we were delighted to have Fiona McNaughton from Women's Aid Armagh Down join us to provide us with an awareness session on the work they do.

This was a very informative session, and we were very grateful to Fiona for her time with us.

Fiona talked us through how we can recognise, understand, and respond effectively to domestic abuse. We split into teams & had a game of ‘two truths & a lie’ - some shocking statistics came out of this activity.

Women’s Aids initiatives focus on fostering a culture where employees feel safe to ask for help.

Their vision is ‘A world where women and children are safe and supported’ and their Mission is ‘To believe in, listen to and support women & children facing domestic abuse so that they feel safe, hopeful and can thrive’.

Thank you to Fiona and to the team at Women’s Aid for the fantastic work they do, and we look forward to supporting them again in the future.
