Is your bank really giving you the right mortgage deal? 🏦

It's a fair question, and one worth asking properly.

When you go directly to your bank, they can only show you their own products. That might suit you perfectly, but it also might not. You won't know, because you haven't seen the alternatives.

As a mortgage broker, I look at options from a wide range of lenders to help find a deal that actually fits your situation, your plans, and your budget.

If your bank genuinely does have the right option for you? I'll tell you. There's no incentive for me to steer you anywhere else.

And once your application is in, I keep an eye on things. If a better rate becomes available before completion, I'll let you know.

Do you know your mortgage fixed rate expiry date? 📅

When it ends, you could roll onto your lender’s standard variable rate - which is usually higher. The good news: with a little notice, you often have options.

As one of my clients, I keep track of your fixed-rate end date so you don’t have to. I’ll reach out around 3–6 months before it expires to talk through your choices - whether that’s a new deal with your existing lender or something better elsewhere.
