🌉 Big News — We’re Rebranding! 🌉
After a lot of thought and excitement behind the scenes, I’m really proud to share that Mortgage Search Ltd will soon be trading as Tickford Mortgages! 🏡
This isn’t a goodbye to Mortgage Search — it’s simply the next step in our journey. Mortgage Search Ltd will remain our company name, but from 1st January 2026 we’ll officially start trading under Tickford Mortgages.
So… why the change?
Over the past few years, Mortgage Search has grown from a small, local business into something truly special — built on word of mouth, trust, and genuine connections with clients and the community.
And the more we’ve grown, the more we’ve realised how proud we are to be based right here in Newport Pagnell.
It’s where my journey in mortgages began back in 2008 with Wilson Peacock in Newport Pagnell, part of Countrywide, the UK’s largest brokerage at the time. Since then I’ve worked as a mortgage adviser and underwriter at Lloyds Banking Group, before returning to the brokerage world in 2015 and launching Mortgage Search Ltd in 2022 — right here in my hometown.
Our office is in Newport Pagnell, my children go to the local schools, and my wife works in the local education sector — so we’re very much part of the community we serve. That’s why I wanted a name that truly reflected those local roots.
Tickford Mortgages felt like the perfect fit. Inspired by the famous Tickford Bridge, it’s a name that captures local heritage, strength, and connection — everything our business stands for.
We’ll continue to offer the same clear, friendly, and reliable mortgage advice you’ve always known us for — across Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes, and the whole of the UK. The name might be changing, but the people and the service remain exactly the same.
This is the start of an exciting new chapter, and we can’t wait to take you on the journey with us.
