There are many who make assumptions that insurance policies just don't pay out, so it's always helpful when insurers release their annual reports. Today, Aviva have confirmed the following:

- They paid over £1.1 billion in individual protection claims last year;
- That's the equivalent of £3 million per day to 53,713 customers;
- £69 million of these claims were linked to covid;
- 98% of claims were paid (99.4% of life cover claims paid);
- The average claim period of an income protection policy is 7 years and 5 month, and £51.2 million was paid out in 2021.

WE ARE HIRING!

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are either already in the estate planning and protection industry, or who are keen to get into it. This role may also suit people who have experience in the health/medical industries, as empathising and understanding a customer's needs is pivotal to the role.

The role itself will be on a self employed basis, so you will need to be highly motivated, and have the ability to run your own diary. In return we can offer full training and support, and offer the ability for you to work from home or in our office.
