Here’s your reminder to not put off applying for your mortgage or remortgage. Recently rates have been dropping which can put a lot of clients off securing their rate for what it is at the time. Back in May, I secured a 5.14% rate for a client. Since then, I have been monitoring the market closely, and today, I was able to adjust it down to 4.11%. This is for a 5-year fixed-rate product with a 60% loan-to-value ratio.

Please always get in touch as soon as you can, if you lock in and they increase the rate, it doesn’t matter to you as you’ve already secured your rate, however, it they reduce rates as they did for my client above, we always have options💭
