Autumn has arrived and we wanted to add a splash of colour to it with today’s arts and crafts! 🥰
Everyone had a lot of fun with this one today and all chose a lovely selection of colours to create their autumn leaves.

Flower arranging Friday was in full bloom today. Everyone enjoyed creating their own beautiful displays, each arrangement showing so much creativity. Annie spent some time tending to her own flower display in the garden. 🥰🌼🌻🌸

Today, we celebrated National Dog Day! Nadine was kind enough to bring in her dog Karma to visit everyone this afternoon. There was smiles all around and everyone absolutely loved it.

In celebration of National Dog Day tomorrow, today we've enjoyed a colorful arts and crafts activity where everyone decorated their own dogs and we put them all together for a bright and cheerful display. 🐶

A huge congratulations to Daniel, our Head Chef, on being named our Employee of the Month! 👏🎉

Daniel works incredibly hard to ensure our residents receive delicious meals and always goes above and beyond in his role. What makes Daniel such a valuable member of our team is his willingness to step in and help wherever he is needed, often going above and beyond his role to support his colleagues and our home.

His dedication, hard work and fantastic team spirit do not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful to have him as part of our team. ❤️ Well done, Daniel👏🧑‍🍳

🩹 First Aid Training! 🩹

Today some of our wonderful care staff took part in a First Aid course with the fabulous Frances from Two Line Training! ❤️

The course was brilliant, informative and hands-on, giving our team the opportunity to refresh and develop their first aid knowledge and skills. It’s so important that our staff feel confident and prepared to respond should the need ever arise.

A huge thank you to Frances at Two Line Training for making the course so engaging and enjoyable! 👏

Well done to all our staff who took part, your commitment to learning and continuing to provide the very best care for our residents is truly appreciated. 🌟

Good morning everyone,

This Saturday 8th is our annual summer party 🎉 100 years of Winnie the Pooh! 💛❤️
We would really love to see you all as we have so many fun activities and delicious food.
Including kristi from the singing sweethearts. You will have the opportunity to sponge some of our staff members in our sponge the villain activity… we can’t wait 😅🥴😂.
There’s also so many activities for our younger guests, painting Winnie the Pooh characters, we have temporary tattoos to be given out and there’s a chance to go home with a Winnie the Pooh cuddly toy. 🧸

Just incase the weather isn’t on our side this weekend, the event will still be taking place in the dining room but hopefully that won’t be the case.

See you all on Saturday at 11AM! 😄
