Launched in 2009 by Helen Gillies, and the result of over five years experience of running classes for babies and toddlers in both the UK and abroad, Tots Play was created to offer a varied programme of activity classes, parties and play resources for babies and toddlers, designed to provide not only age appropriate learning experiences for your child, but also exciting, interactive play sessions for you both. A place where you can take time to enjoy those special moments together.

Just me, washing bottles and having a little chat about what’s coming up at Tots Play next term 😂

I may have temporarily forgotten when I’m actually coming back from maternity leave to run a morning baby development course… it is the 8th October! 🤦‍♀️😂
Holly will be continuing to run her classes until the new year too!

I’m off on holiday tomorrow! ☀️💛

So I’m taking a little break from the behind-the-scenes of Tots Play for a week — no admin, planning or replying to messages (unless something really can’t wait!)

Classes are still running, our final Summer Special is next Wednesday with Holly — Teddy Bear’s Picnic 🧸🌿 — so please don’t worry, everything is going ahead as planned!

I’ve also got some posts scheduled while I’m away, so you’ll still see me popping up on your feed even though I’m hopefully on the beach or eating nice food and trying to relax 😂

I’ll still receive emails while I’m away, so if there’s anything important or an issue that needs me, please email me and I’ll see it. Otherwise, I’ll catch up with everyone when I’m back!

...and honestly… THIS is why I love what I do! 💙
Today I met 4 gorgeous new babies and their marvellous mums on my first ever tranquil retreat and we had a lush hour together!

Today was extra special because I was leading the session with my own little 14-week-old alongside me! He was the perfect little model… almost! 😂

Thank you to my lovely mums for your patience, understanding and kindness as I navigate the reality of being both a new mum (again) and business owner. It means more than you know! 🤍

My tiniest little Tots Play team member is already doing a pretty good job! 🥹💙

If I had one Tots Play wish…
..the mats would put themselves out 😂

When I was pregnant, my mum came to every single session to help me get everything set up and I’ll forever be grateful for that ❤️ It's not an easy task!

Now I just wish the mats would learn to do it themselves 😂
