Just a quick update to let you know that with all the donated bottle deposits, we were able to plant 834 trees with 🙌

It’s now time to say my final farewell to you all as I power down, close the shop for good and begin the next chapter in my life.

Thank you to everyone who has been along for this crazy ride! I’ve learnt so much for this experience and met some fantastic people along the way! I’ll always be around if you have any questions or need advice on your journey to low waste living.

Just a quick update on bottle deposits refunds.

I’ve sent emails to everyone who has paid a bottle deposit, but if you missed it, on Tuesday 24th April, I’ll be donating any outstanding deposits to to plant trees and support environmental charities.

If you’ve already reached out and requested a refund or have requested your deposit be donated, thank you!

If you do wish to have your deposit refunded, please get in touch before 6pm tomorrow.

Thank you everyone who left your bottles out for me to collect yesterday!

For those who returned your bottles and received your final order/ didn't order, I was planning on working through all of your accounts today and arrange your refunds, but I've had two sleepless nights with my 10 month old who has a bad cold so I am hoping to get through them on Friday when I have some childcare in place.

You are welcome to send your bank details to my email, otherwise keep an eye out in your inbox and check your spam as I will reach out to you personally by email.

Thank you to everyone who has ordered and reached out with such kind words! I have been so overwhelmed by all your well wishes and support as I begin to close down the business.

I just wanted to give an update on what will be happening over the next few weeks.

If you have placed an order that does not require glass bottles (you've only ordered non liquids or ordered plastic bottles for your refills) then you will receive your order on Tuesday 7th March. Please leave out any bottles you have so I can refund your bottle deposit.

If you have placed an order that requires more bottles to be delivered, I will only collect any bottles you leave out and will be delivering your order the following Tuesday 21st March. I will message you to arrange when your final bottle collection will be.

If you've not done so already, let me know that you have received the email or read this post and will be leaving bottles out for collection.

And there is still time to place an order or add anything you might have missed to an order!

Grab A Bargain Before It's Gone For Good!

As the business will be closed by the end of March, everything must go so stock up on all your favourite plant based eco products at a great price!

For Existing Customers:
I'll be doing a bottle collection on Tuesday 7th March.
I hope to collect as many bottles as I can to sell off as much liquid refills as possible. I then plan to do another bottle collection in around a months time to collect all remaining bottles and refund bottle deposits.
If you are just returning bottles without putting a final order in, I will refund your deposit after the first collection day.

For New Customers:
If you are new here, welcome! You are welcome to purchase liquid refills, but please do so by purchasing reusable plastic bottles to be filled. Bottle deposits are no longer available.

This is so hard to write but I am here on this beautiful Monday morning to let you know that I will be closing EarthKind Rewind.

I am so grateful for all of you who have supported me along the way, who have been there and watch EKR grow into what it is today. I was quite a newbie to the service business world. I was doing everything I could to figure it all out as I went and you were there to cheer me on as I navigated it all.

It has been quite the journey! I started EKR back in June 2020 as the pandemic lockdown was well in force.

In September 2020 I acquired a stall at Neston Market and I loved getting to know my customers and helping to educate them on how to live a more sustainable life.

One year later, I sold my little green Corsa, bought a two seater van and found out I was pregnant with my son on the same day!

I am still amazed at how much I was able to do while pregnant. I was lugging 20L tubs to the market right up until I was 34 weeks pregnant and was out doing deliveries until 38 weeks!

But sadly, the business just hasn't bounced back since my maternity leave. I have had many customers who stuck around and a few new customers too, but it just hasn't been enough to keep going.

It is so heartbreaking to say goodbye as I had so many plans for the business. I imagined being in a retail unit, showing my little boy how refills work, but my dream is no longer sustainable for me and my family.

So what's next?

I plan to spend the next few weeks winding down the business.

I plan to collect as many refill bottles as possible so I can sell off what stock I have left. So if you could take some time to collect up any empties you have, I'll be doing a big bottle collection day next Tuesday 7th March.

I will then ensure that everyone gets their bottle deposits returned to them once I have received the bottles they have.

In the UK, we get through around 3.2 billion single use cups each year!

As a FTM to an 8 month old who is teething, I’m get that coffee is a necessity of life and with the recent pandemic, people are worried about using reusables.

Many coffee shops refused reusables for many years, but they are now allowing them again. is one of them. You actually get a free coffee when you use your reusable cup 4 times! What a bargain!
