💷💷 JUST LAUNCHED 💷💷
A new scheme has just launched to encourage people to open businesses in empty units across the whole of Northern Ireland. Meet the criteria for the Back in Business scheme and you could get a 50% rates discount for 24 months.
Criteria;
- The unit has to have been empty for 12 months or more;
- The unit has to have been previously rated for retail;
- You must have occupied the building AFTER 1st April 2024. It cannot be backdated and doesn't include current businesses.

The January 31st deadline for tax returns is fast approaching. If you need your tax return completed, please pass everything needed for it to be submitted to our office or email it in by Friday 19th January.

Naturally we will do our best to have every tax return submitted, but priority will be given to those who have their information in to us by Friday.

The Chancellor announces the National Living Wage is set to increase to £11 per hour from April 2024.

The JobStart scheme is designed for unemployed 16-24 year olds and to match those applicants with business. It is a brilliant scheme that is working for multiple clients of ours.

How it Works
• The Government will pay the National Minimum Wage for 25 hours per week for 6-9 months for each employee you take on, including National Insurance contributions. (You can employ them for more hours, but you incur the cost of this).
• You as a business will receive a £1,000 grant per employee for a 6 month opportunity, or £1,500 for a 9 month opportunity.
