𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀! 🎉

I've been selected as one of just seven advisers across the UK to join the Income Protection Task Force's 7Advisers programme for 2026.

Anyone who has worked with me will know how passionate I am about income protection (often talking about it before you've even got a mortgage) - so when the opportunity came up to get involved at this level, it felt like a natural fit.

𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂?
Too many people have no plan in place for what happens to their finances if they couldn't work due to illness or injury (often relying on statutory sick pay alone). It's not something anyone likes to think about - but it's one of the most important conversations you can have.

Over the next year I'll be contributing to national campaigns, educational content and industry events - all aimed at getting more people the protection they actually need.

The Income Protection Task Force (IPTF) has unveiled its fourth cohort of 7Advisers, alongside the addition of a new member to its board. When your mortgage deal is due for renewal, your current lender will almost always offer you something… but it’s not always the 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 option.

An adviser will check every possible route - staying with your lender and switching -and compare the true cost once all fees are taken into account to find a suitable option.
