First-time buyers, this could be big news for you! 🏡

The government has announced a new scheme called Your First Home, designed to help first-time buyers who are struggling with the size of a deposit.

The scheme is expected to offer:

✅ 2.5% deposit
✅ A 20% government-backed equity loan
✅ Available on eligible new-build homes
✅ An initial interest-free period on the equity loan

There will also be household income and property price caps, with the full details expected to be announced at the October Budget!
