Goes by the name of Alison. Seems lovely. Then starts asking VERY personal questions…

“What would happen if you couldn’t work?”
“How long would your savings last?”
“Is that policy still right for you?”

SORRY, LOVE. I CAME ON FACEBOOK TO LOOK AT HOLIDAY PHOTOS, NOT HAVE MY ENTIRE FINANCIAL PLAN EXPOSED! 🤣

Before you know it, she’s poking holes in your carefully thought-out arrangements:

🙈 “I’ll sort it next year.”
🙈 “I’m sure work covers me.”
🙈 “We’d manage somehow.”
🙈 “Nothing’s going to happen to me.”

I’VE BEEN RELYING ON THOSE EXCUSES FOR YEARS AND SHE’S PICKED THEM APART IN TEN MINUTES! 😭

Then she has the cheek to explain life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection in words I actually understand.

NO JARGON. NO CONFUSION.

How am I supposed to say “I don’t understand insurance” now?! 😂

TERMINAL ILLNESS vs CRITICAL ILLNESS

Please check your policy....
Terminal illness cover and critical illness cover are two totally differrent things. When my husband had a heart attack, I thought we were covered because we had a life and terminal illness policy. Little did I know when we took the policy out several years before that you have to be diagnosed with a condition where you have less than 12 months to live!

Don't get caught out!

This week is breast cancer awareness week. We all know somebody who’s had breast cancer or been affected by it. Early detection is vital. Ladies, make sure you are regularly checking your breasts. Early detection can save your life.
If you’ve had breast cancer and you have a young daughter, it’s very unlikely they will ever be covered for breast or ovarian cancer on a critical illness policy. We have a solution where you can get cover for your daughter. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch for more information.
