* Cash ISAs: the planned reduction is scrapped, retaining the £20,000 annual limit within the overall ISA allowance.
* Savings and rental income: tax rates will rise to 24%, 44% and 49% from April 2027. The property rates apply in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
* Pensioners: a new Pension Tax Allowance from April 2027 will protect those whose total income does not exceed the full new State Pension from income tax.
* Personal allowance: remains at £12,570, making tax-efficient planning increasingly important.
* First-time buyers: a new First Time Buyer ISA is planned for April 2029.
A timely opportunity to review how your savings, investments and retirement plans fit together.
