We are on the hunt for our next Payroll apprentice, if you or someone you know around Mansfield area is interested in a career working with customers in an exciting environment, please share with them.
The vacancy is for an Apprentice Payroll Assistant who will be part of our Bureau Team. The payroll administrator role is the main entry point to the business where experience is built with the eventual possibility of progression within that team or graduating into one of the other more specialist teams.
The bureau team is responsible for the day to day processing of payrolls. Reporting to the Bureau Manager the candidate will be increasingly involved in all aspects of the payroll processing, including data entry, payroll calculation, HMRC return filing and pensions Auto Enrolment.
Key Qualifications:
A-Level qualifications - subject matter not critical
GCSE Maths Grade C (Or modern equivalent)
GCSE English Grade C (Or modern equivalent)
The successful candidate will be placed on a 12 month course with a local training provider to kick start their career. On completion of this all employees are offered to be sponsored to study a further course to degree level.

Our Customer Service Director, Marc Johnson, and Customer Care Manager, Paul Unwin, spent the last couple of days out on site with one of our long standing customers. The reason for their visit was to document the customers current payroll practices. This visit also forms part of a larger process to provide a comprehensive report on potential improvements that could be made to provide efficiency savings and also improve data security. This report will also document a Disaster Relief plan for them. This is so that if their payroll personnel are unavailable for any reason their payroll can still be processed on time. LivePay are happy to work with our customers in this way as it provides the customers a documented process for improvement and DR planning.

Have you thought about your current payroll processing procedures and more importantly how you would be impacted if certain members of the payroll team are absent during the payroll process. If not it may be worth a chat with us and how we can help/assist you.
