Great day out today with Graham Calverley, Ash Calverley, little lotte and my eldest not right at Whitworth.
The girls did really well today first time on track, I am so so proud
I can see this costing a small fortune this job like as she loves it 🙄
Thanks to Andy at Sadd MX for sorting me out with some last minute racing gear today 👍
Not forgetting Jocky either at Saddleworth Motor Services for repairing me a puncher on our way home even when he was actually leaving work, top man.

So if you have been hearing rumours that we are shutting shop, I am afraid it's true.
I have been taking losses over the last few years, but was hoping things would change.
With bills almost doubling over recent months, and the constant price increases on parts, its been impossible to price jobs.
I apologise to all who have tried to contact us over recent months with no avail.
We simply just not had the staff and we have been finishing the jobs we have taken on.
We are now on our final job, a new 4motion once this is complete the doors will shut for the last time.
I have been fortunate as I have been offered work with a number of people, and I am walking straight into a job.
Hopefully this will be less stressful, and give me more family time.
I want to say thankyou to all my customers and suppliers for there support.
Please don't worry If you need any help or advise, I will and always be a phone call away.

Finally we are back in business, jobs are getting finished as parts become more available.
We are still not taking calls as the company recovers, this is time we cannot spare as we are still playing catch up.
If you wish to contact us please do it via our website or Facebook and we will arrange an appointment. This way you can see what we do and meet the team.
We are currently booked up until late March, that is if the DVLA do not change the goal posts once more.
I would like to say thankyou to our customers for their patience.

Finally things are looking to be going in the right direction but it's going to be a hard climb for a while.
As some may be aware parts prices have varied vastly over the last 18 months, rents and insurance have also gone up significantly.
We will try our best to remain competitive, these changes are unfortunately beyond our control but as we don't cut corners, you will always receive the best quality from SMS.

Thankyou to Steve and the crew at UK Leisure Parts for going the extra mile to help us ride out this last couple of years.

Finally got the parts to finish a job I started in early 2020.
This Tuesday I shall finish my second bespoke job which is three months behind.
Fortunately customers have been great as it has all been out of my control.
Covid has dealt SMS a bad hand financially and if it continues I can very much see this as my last year of building campers.
A huge thankyou to my lass, motherdear and my very short friend with the big chin for jumping on board to help me out 👍
Fingers crossed things get better folks 🤞

Well it's been a while for sure.
First I would like to apologise to all who have tried to contact work and heard nothing.
With this current climate we have had to shut and I did not want to advertise this.
I am now back in and trying to play catch up.
Unfortunately I have not got time to sit through all the messages and calls and do prices at the moment.
We are currently booked up for three months and some more at the moment.
We are not taking anymore work on until clear the jobs that we have I am afraid.
If you wish to get booked in please feel free to come and see me at work. Mon- Fri 9 - 5.30

Thankyou for your patience and understanding and hopefully we can get back to normal soon.

Now here is a crafter I designed and helped my good friend Simon Wroe build.
I had to sell mine this year so Sie has agreed to take me to track days and shows for helping him with this conversion.
Ps I am aware that the sink is a 9222 not a 9722 that's before the lads start taking the mick.😉
