🍰 The Great Spencer Hayes Bake Off! 🍰
Curtis is taking on the Bury 10K this September to raise money for Bury Cancer Support Centre , and with a £100 fundraising target to hit, we decided to help him out in the best way we know how… with food.
So, we held our very own Spencer Hayes Bake Off!
The standard was surprisingly high (we're not sure what everyone has been hiding), but after plenty of tasting and some very close judging, we had our results:
🥇 1st – Phoebe | Banana & Lemon Cake
It might not be the most obvious combination, but it worked!
🥈 2nd – Paul Bentley | Coconut Tarts & Cupcakes
A VERY close second. The coconut tarts were a definite favourite.
🥉 3rd – Nadia | Milk Cake
Not only a great cake, but Nadia definitely took the prize for best presentation too. 😍
🍪 4th – Daisy | Red Velvet Cookies
Fourth place really doesn't do these justice. They were gooey, chocolatey and disappeared very quickly!
There genuinely wasn't a bad bake amongst them, and with the scores so close, we think everyone can claim some bragging rights.
But the most important result of the day…
We set out to raise £100 and ended up raising an amazing £300 for Bury Cancer Support Centre! 💛
