Powerful earthquakes in Myanmar have caused catastrophic devastation. As a core member of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Rapid Response Network, The Co-operative Bank and smile are raising money to help DEC charities reach survivors and will donate an initial £10,000 to the appeal.

All of our services are running as normal and customers are able to access their accounts and make payments. The issue affecting our payment processing system is now resolved and all scheduled payments are now being processed. Customers should see their account balances update in due course.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused and want to reassure our customers that if they have suffered any financial detriment due to this issue, we will look to redress.

We are currently experiencing an issue with our payment processing system which has resulted in a delay in the payment of some customers standing orders overnight. This unfortunately does mean that some customer payments both in and out of their accounts have not yet been processed and customers balances could appear out of date.

We are working at pace to resolve the issue and we apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused . We want to reassure our customers that if they suffer any financial detriment due to this issue, we will look to redress.
Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

This morning we have experienced an issue with our Android mobile banking application, we have now resolved this issue and any customers impacted are being advised to download the latest version from the app store which will enable them to access our mobile application as normal. Our IOS (Apple) application is working as normal however any customers that have not updated recently are being asked to update to the latest version.
