In a world where so many financial services are becoming automated and impersonal, credit unions continue to offer something different.

Every member matters. Every story matters. Every pound saved or borrowed has a purpose behind it.

As a credit union member, you're not just an account number. You're part of an organisation that exists to support people, strengthen communities, and help members achieve their goals.

Whatever you're working towards this week, remember that small steps can lead to big results.

We will be back out in the community soon, this time in Rochdale, asking whether they are savers or spenders.

Will they join the people of Manchester and Bury where spenders came out on top?

What difference could Manchester Credit Union make over the next 10 years?

For our directors, the hope is simple: to grow, reach more people, and make fair financial support accessible to those who have too often been excluded from traditional financial products.

Because everyone deserves the chance to build a stronger financial future.

A little support goes a long way, especially when it helps animals in need.

We're proud to share that our Busy Bee Lottery has donated £500 to The Destitute Animals Shelter in Bolton. This wonderful charity cares for lost, stray and abandoned dogs and cats across the area, rehoming more than 450 animals every single year.

As Operations Manager Jenna Jones put it, support like this is "a lifeline and we're so glad to play a small part in such important community work.

In a world that moves fast, credit unions still make time for people.

Real conversations.
Real support.
Real communities.

From helping families save, to supporting members through difficult times, credit unions continue to prove that finance can still have a human side.

That’s something worth being proud of this Monday.
