Yesterday I made a quick lunch time visit to local business The Lambing Shed Farm Shop & Kitchen - which is around 30 minutes drive south of central Manchester.

If you're looking for something seasonal to end half-term week I'd certainly recommend stopping by for pumpkin picking and a spot of lunch.

Don't be fooled Brick Dog's expression - he had a great time choosing a pumpkin with the kids. His raspberry was because he'd found the biggest one!

If you fancy making a day of it you can blow away the cobwebs with a good walk as Tatton Park is just a short drive away.

It's been an interesting day on the mortgage front with many products being withdrawn from the market. There is also a good deal of speculation that further interest rate rises are just around the corner.

Naturally this is concerning, however please rest assured if your mortgage application has been submitted your rate has been reserved.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to be in touch. Whilst my phone line is extremely busy today I will respond as promptly as possible.

It says it is monitoring developments in the financial markets very closely, and will act accordingly to bring inflation down.

I have been absolutely overwhelmed with the support from all of you. It feels like my feet haven't touched the ground for a whole year!
