It was a great week for our team in Manchester attending the St. James’s Place Partnership Connect event! 🤝

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with peers, share best practices, and gain fresh insights on:
• The evolving advice and investment proposition
• Innovative marketing strategies
• The latest in technology and administration tools

A highlight for our team was seeing our Practice Manager, Alicia Salmon, step up as a guest speaker! Alicia shared how adopting a 'one best way' approach to administration and modern tech drives efficiencies and improves outcomes for our clients. 🌟

The summer holidays don't stop our lot! ☀️ August's Adviser Development Session focused on delivering great client outcomes (thank you, Toby!) and updates to our internal processes, courtesy of our Head of Paraplanning, Ren.

It was another good opportunity to come together as one team, strengthen our service offering and continue improving the experience we deliver to our clients.

We are delighted to welcome Reanu Vasdev to our team as our Head of Paraplanning.

Reanu is a qualified Certified Financial Planner with over 25 years of experience in the financial planning industry. Her career spans financial advice, running a successful Paraplanning Practice, and leading her own SJP Partner Practice for more than a decade.

Reanu is particularly experienced in supporting Advisers with complex financial planning cases, including intricate calculations, technical planning strategies, detailed cashflow modelling and ensuring every aspect of a client's financial wellbeing is considered.

Based in Derby, Reanu lives with her husband, their two children, and Ruby, their much-loved Toy Cockapoo, who she jokingly describes as her favourite child.

Outside of work, Reanu enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, creating healthy meals to support a balanced lifestyle, and taking long walks with Ruby. She also has a passion for music from around the world and enjoys discovering new cultures through its rich and diverse sounds.

We are delighted to welcome Caragh Twomey to our team.

Caragh is an experienced financial services administrator, providing administrative and technical support to our Advisers in addition to supporting the Practice Manager. Caragh’s role involves producing and processing documentation, liaising with clients, St. James's Place departments and third parties to ensure compliance with our service and quality standards.

Outside of work, Caragh enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family, Pilates, reading and a game of darts or pool!

June's Adviser Development Session was led by our team!

Covering trusts, case studies and paraplanning updates, we shared insights and best practice that help to strengthen knowledge across the team.

While the session may have overrun slightly, we still made it to our lunch reservation at Maray Manchester, where the wider team enjoyed some well-earned brain food and a chance to catch up together!
