It's 9pm.
A client messages:
"I've just received this from the lender. What does it mean?
Here's what happens next.
โ
First, I read the message carefully.
Before giving an answer, I want to understand exactly what the lender is asking for.
โ
Then, I explain it in simple language.
Mortgage emails can be full of technical terms.
My job is to make them easier to understand.
โ
I check what needs to happen next.
Is it a document the lender needs?
An additional check?
Or simply part of the normal process?
โ
I help the client understand the next step.
Knowing what to do next can turn a stressful message into a simple action.
Sometimes, clients don't need another mortgage lecture.
They just need someone to say:
"Don't worry. Let's look at this together."
That's an important part of being a mortgage adviser.
Have you ever received a mortgage email that completely confused you?
