Important: Cardeo app closing

We are sad to announce the closure of the Cardeo app. Unfortunately we have not been able to secure the investment required to continue as a business, and are therefore unable to continue supporting the service.

The Cardeo mobile app will be shut down on 9th November 2023.

If you have a repayment plan set up you will need to make alternative arrangements for making repayments to your credit cards. It will no longer be possible to make payments through the app.

Cardeo Credit customers will be contacted separately about the closure.

Please note your data remains secure and will be processed in compliance with data protection law.

In City AM today, Cardeo continues to campaign for banks to give you access to your own financial data.

Card issuers are required to allow third parties to access customer data under open banking rules, but many banks are making it difficult to access information contained in monthly statements, such as the repayment date and interest rate.

This means you miss out on savings from new financial products, like Cardeo.

Regulators should expand open banking rules "systematically" in order to save customers thousands of pounds across a variety of different financial products, experts have said.
