January's top pick was application placed on-behalf of an MPS officer, purchasing a new build flat using a 5% deposit / 95% mortgage relying on both basic and overtime income. The case was offered by Leek United Building Society in 9 working days with an anticipated complete of June 2020!

NAEA Propertymark suggests that First Time Buyer sales rose by 30% in September 2019 when reviewing the month-on-month rise since February.

They explain that "low or no stamp duty on lower priced properties have proved to be a big reason behind the boost”

There is no better way to start the day than with a thank you!

We arrived at the office this morning to find this lovely gift and thank you card from a client that exchanged contracts on their new home last week.

The card reads “I wanted to express my thanks for all your hard work in helping me with my mortgage and buying my first home. You were there when I needed advice, not only on the mortgage, but also with the builders, agent (ergh!) and solicitors. I couldn’t have done it without you!”
