We now have long term relationships with schools all over the world, working with them closely to build capacity and improve learning for everyone. We focus on the early years, primary, and middle year's curriculum, and professional development for schools around the world. From the very start, our focus has been on helping schools improve learning. The company was founded in 1984 by two Headteachers concerned about the quality and quantity of learning in schools. Since then, Fieldwork Education has grown continuously. It created the highly successful International Primary Curriculum (IPC) along with other successful learning-focused programmes for schools including Looking for Learning and, more recently, the International Middle Years Curriclum (IMYC). It has also become part of the WCL Group which owns and operates its own schools.

What is education for? 📖

At the ICA, we believe that academic learning is only the start of a child’s education. Personal characteristics like communication, empathy and adaptability matter just as much, so we have designed our International Curriculum to nurture them at every stage – from early to middle years.

How do we encourage students to connect their learning in and beyond the classroom?
