Landmark were honoured to attend this year’s MGAA. As a speciality solutions provider it was a great opportunity to meet the market and discuss how we can help brokers find innovative and creative solutions to a wide range of global risks.

This year saw a record number of brokers and MGA’s attending, some familiar faces, and some new ones. It’s always nice to bump into existing brokers or put a face to a name for those, more international, brokers that travelled further afield to be there.

We must also say a massive thank you to all the people involved in organising this year’s event. Everyone from the MGAA deserves a huge round of applause.

We were joined by Simon de la Hoyde, from AddressCloud, who delivered a thought-provoking talk about property data and how it is used by underwriters. We look forward to hosting more sessions soon and would like to thank our attendees for coming. It was a pleasure hosting our guests and we enjoyed discussing the topic with them.

Simon is a Sales Director at Addresscloud, where powerful geo-spatial APIs and intuitive applications help property insurers reduce risk and make better underwriting decisions. He has over 25 years experience in the world of geospatial data and analysis, with 15 years dedicated to the insurance and reinsurance markets.
