One of the most popular things to do in Dordogne is visit the castles that are still standing there. Above is a snapshot of Chateau de Commarque, located on a picturesque hillside in Périgord. The Dordogne area is one of our favourites here at IPF and we think that October is a brilliant time of year to visit. There is still some summer warmth lingering in the air and the roads and attractions are far quieter than they are during the holidays.

Next year France will be hosting the Rugby World Cup! It will be kicking off on Friday 8th September 2023 with France vs New Zealand in none other than the Stade de France. The championships run all the way through to late October where the matches will be hosted in 10 cities across France; Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Paris, Saint-Denis, Saint-Etienne and Toulouse. No matter where you are based, there will be a match near you! Tickets aren't yet on sale but be sure to keep your eyes peeled.
