Fineo's Afiya Titus ran a masterclass on how client expectations are shifting. Her key message...

Accountants rate their own client satisfaction at 80%. Their clients rate it at 8%.

→ Clients aren't comparing you to other accountants. They're comparing you to Apple, Amazon, their bank, the restaurant they ate at last night.
→ The gap isn't technical knowledge — it's experience and responsiveness.
→ The challenge is matching those expectations at scale.

Thanks to everyone who came to our MTD insights lunch! 💚

MTD for Income Tax goes live next week (!)

A whopping 864,000 businesses will be impacted in the first tranche, growing to 2.9M.

Last Thursday, we had the privilege of co-hosting an MTD session for a group of leading accountants with ACCA Chair Eriona Bajrakurtaj.

Liz Barclay, former UK Small Business Commissioner, also shared her insights on what government and small businesses are experiencing on the ground.
