We are delighted to announce a new £165m funding round. A £75m investment from Chrysalis leads Series D.

Chrysalis Investments joins Legal & General, J.P. Morgan, the Link Group, Barclays and Natixis Investment Managers, the strategic investors to date in Smart.

Additional investors are to be announced in the coming weeks.

Smart's Co-founders, Andrew & Will, had this to say:
