How do you define good customer service?
Recently I spent a wonderful two weeks on holiday. Our flight home was 9pm. The hotel asked us to be out of our room by noon.
On the last morning, they left a bag in our room which was a cloth bag with a waterproof lining with the words “for last swims” on it. Then they moved us to a newly cleaned room next to the pool for the rest of the day. So we had full use of the hotel facilities until we left for the airport. I’m used to sitting in the hotel reception for the last day!
These touches are what sets a company apart from their competitors.
I like to think that the customer service I provide is different to other bookkeepers. I like to go the extra mile. I could give you a branded notebook, I could send you a gift when you sign up with me, but I don’t. I give you comfort, organisation and peace of mind. That’s as a basic. Then I go that little bit further to help you to really understand your business finances.
