Today, our dear friend and colleague Gordon Alexander Kerr, founder of Cobden Partners, would have turned 67.
Although we were not able to mark his passing on this page at the time, we would like to do so today — with respect, sadness and gratitude.
Gordon was a man of rare intellect, energy and principle. He was a respected professional, a thoughtful colleague, and a friend whose views always challenged, informed and enriched the people around him.
Across the UK, Bulgaria and beyond, many people knew Gordon through his work, his ideas, his generosity with advice, and his willingness to engage deeply with difficult questions. He leaves behind memories of meaningful conversations, sharp analysis, and sincere friendship.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and all who knew and loved him.
Gordon will be missed, and remembered.
