The UK Pakistan Trade & Investment Board (UPTIB) proudly hosted the 2nd Pakistan Business Summit on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to global engagement, economic diplomacy, and private-sector–led growth. The Summit served as a strategic platform to facilitate business dialogue, promote Pakistan’s economic potential, advance trade and investment opportunities, and build long-term relationships and partnerships connecting Pakistan with Europe, the UK, Switzerland, and beyond.

Bringing together leading businesses, institutions, policymakers, innovators, and global thought leaders, the Summit enabled meaningful conversations, the exploration of collaborations and MOUs, and the strengthening of trade corridors aimed at creating a resilient, inclusive, and future-ready business and trade ecosystem for Pakistan under the theme: 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬

UPTIB extends its sincere gratitude to Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry, the World Economic Forum, and all participating organizations, delegates, speakers, and partners whose trust and collaboration made this milestone possible.

A New Year Reflection | UPTIB

As we step into a new year, it’s hard not to pause and look back at the journey of UK–Pakistan Trade & Investment Board (UPTIB) — a journey that has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. From the very inception of UPTIB, this year tested us with challenges, setbacks, learning curves, and moments that demanded resilience. Yet, it also rewarded us with milestones, global recognition, and the satisfaction of putting Pakistan’s business narrative on international platforms.

From launching the 1st Pakistan Business Summit, to leading a delegation that secured recognition at the Global Business Leadership Forum in Sri Lanka, expanding our footprint at the Europe–Asia Economic Summit in May, representing Pakistan at AI for Good Global Summit by ITU–United Nations in July, and participating at London Tech Week, every step added a new chapter to our story. We went on to organize the first-ever UK–Pakistan Business Summit in November, and now, returning to where it all began, we are gearing up to host the 2nd Pakistan Business Summit in January 2026 on the sidelines of the 56th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.

This year was not just about events and milestones — it was about belief, persistence, teamwork, and purpose. There were tough days, unexpected turns, small wins, big wins, and lessons that will stay with us forever. As we welcome the new year, we do so with gratitude, renewed energy, and an even stronger commitment to building bridges, creating opportunities, and representing Pakistan with pride on the global stage.
