I’m honoured to share that I’ll be participating in the 15th UN Forum on Business and Human Rights at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland this November.

As President of the UK–Pakistan Trade & Investment Board, I’m proud to represent a platform dedicated to strengthening economic cooperation between the United Kingdom and Pakistan through trade, investment, innovation, and sustainable business partnerships.

The UK–Pakistan Trade & Investment Board works to:

- Facilitate bilateral trade and investment opportunities between the UK and Pakistan.
- Connect businesses, investors, entrepreneurs, and policymakers across both markets.
- Support SMEs, startups, and established companies with market access, strategic partnerships, and investment facilitation.
- Promote responsible, sustainable, and inclusive economic growth aligned with international best practices.
- Create opportunities in sectors including technology, AI, fintech, healthcare, manufacturing, education, energy, infrastructure, and professional services.

The UN Forum on Business and Human Rights is the world’s leading global platform on responsible business conduct, bringing together governments, businesses, international organisations, investors, civil society, and thought leaders to advance the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The discussions will help shape the future of corporate accountability, sustainable supply chains, ESG, and inclusive economic development.

The UK Pakistan Trade & Investment Board (UPTIB) proudly hosted the 2nd Pakistan Business Summit on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to global engagement, economic diplomacy, and private-sector–led growth. The Summit served as a strategic platform to facilitate business dialogue, promote Pakistan’s economic potential, advance trade and investment opportunities, and build long-term relationships and partnerships connecting Pakistan with Europe, the UK, Switzerland, and beyond.

Bringing together leading businesses, institutions, policymakers, innovators, and global thought leaders, the Summit enabled meaningful conversations, the exploration of collaborations and MOUs, and the strengthening of trade corridors aimed at creating a resilient, inclusive, and future-ready business and trade ecosystem for Pakistan under the theme: 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬
