Supporting the victims of the recent flash floods in Nepal and their families was at the heart of this year’s Nepali Mela. The A-Star Financial Solutions UK team was honoured to discuss how further support from the UK could be effectively channelled to those affected with Acting Ambassador Mr Bipin Duwadi, Hon. Indira Rana Magar, Hari Budha Magar MBE, former Mayor Nina Gurung, former NRNA President Kul Acharya, Mr Nabin Pokhrel the founding President of FNJ UK, former QGE GM Ek Gurung, Gurkha officers, , Tamu Dhee UK President Mr Jumkaji Gurung and many other distinguished personalities. We salute everyone who helped raise funds and sincerely thank all the organisers, volunteers and supporters who made Nepali Mela a wonderful celebration of our culture, traditions and unity.

A-Star family would like to thank all community leaders, dignitaries and well-wishers who visited our stall today at 17th Nepali Mela at Kempton Park. We would like to thank the organiser, Tamu Dhee UK, for bringing the Nepali community in the UK together to showcase solidarity with the government and people of Nepal during a period of national grief in the wake of the Rasuwa floods. Unity is strength. Look forward to seeing you all next year. All the best wishes!

As we are in devastated situation, Organiser has confirmed that this year, all funds raised will be donated to support the victims affected by the recent floods in Nepal.
