Should women maintain some level of financial independence in a relationship?
It's a conversation that often sparks strong opinions.
Some believe needing financial independence means something is wrong in the relationship. Others believe that regardless of how loving, committed, or traditional a relationship may be, every woman should maintain some degree of financial autonomy.
At Rainchq, we believe financial independence isn't about expecting failure. It's about having choice, agency, and a voice in your own life.
This isn't a conversation about competing with men or rejecting partnership. It's about recognizing that adult women deserve to understand money, access money, and have some level of control over their financial future.
A healthy relationship can absolutely involve shared finances, shared goals, and shared responsibilities. But it should also leave room for dignity, security, and personal autonomy.
What's your take? Do women need financial independence regardless of relationship status?
