Matt joined Monroe Staffing in 2001 and worked his way up through the ranks of the company, learning every aspect of the business. In January 2009 he was appointed President and CEO. Matt leads the organization's strategic direction and growth, and is focused on building Monroe Staffing's regional presence through organic development, partnerships and acquisitions. Matt serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Monroe Staffing, a division of Initio International. Matt holds a bachelor's degree from Plymouth State University.

Initio International expands its North American presence
Monroe Staffing Services, an Initio International company, is delighted to announce the opening of the company’s fourteenth office in Mocksville, North Carolina. Headquartered in Trumbull, Connecticut, Monroe Staffing has offices throughout the Northeast in the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Monroe Staffing’s continued growth enabled the firm to expand its market share to include the Southeast.

“We have successfully operated in the Northeast for over 40 years and saw an opportunity to continue our organic growth plan in the Southeast”, says Matt Briand, President & CEO. “As we expand our footprint, the Mocksville, North Carolina office will provide a central hub in which to better facilitate future branch openings”.
