Daniela Beccaria Blamey is a registered member of the British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA) and of the Association of Energy Therapists. After completing her training and qualifications in 2014, Daniela founded Kensington Scenar with the objective of helping people regain a pain free life. Crippled for years by chronic back pain to which different

Consultant had attributed a variety of diagnosis from premature Arthritis, to injuries, to possible spinal infection; she had restricted mobility and despite the high dosage of prescribed pain killers, was in constant agony. Having consulted several Orthopaedic Surgeons and tried unsuccessfully a number of treatments: including Cortisone injections in the spine, extensive physiotherapy, osteopathy and acupuncture, she was faced with the only option to operate. In a last attempt to avoid surgery she came across Scenar Therapy. After 12 sessions her pain had gone, she had regained full mobility and is now enjoying a normal active life pain free. Fascinated and astonished by the results, Daniela decided to train to become a Scenar Therapist. Today she is delighted with the results she is able to achieve with her patients.

SCENAR Therapy and Faster Recovery from Ankle Sprains — What the Research Shows

Ankle sprains are one of the most common injuries in sport, and for professional athletes, recovery time matters. A 2019 prospective randomised controlled trial published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery looked specifically at how non‑invasive interactive neurostimulation, the technology behind SCENAR devices, supports recovery in acute low‑grade lateral ankle sprains.

In this study (Razzano et al., 2019), professional contact‑sport athletes received SCENAR‑licensed device therapy as part of their early treatment. The results were impressive: athletes showed faster short‑term recovery and quicker return‑to‑sport timelines compared with standard care alone.

For clinicians, this reinforces what we see in practice: targeted neurostimulation can help regulate inflammation, reduce pain, and support tissue healing in those crucial early days after injury.

For athletes, it means getting back to training and performing with greater confidence.

From my personal experience treating myself daily after my own ankle sprain, the past couple of weeks have provided compelling evidence of effectiveness and strong recovery.
