We are excited to announce our interview with Jeremy Grantham, Co-Founder and Chief Investment Strategist of Grantham, Mayo & van Otterloo (GMO), is now available to watch via the link below.

Mr. Grantham is considered to be one of the most influential investors of all time. Mr. Grantham’s investment philosophy at GMO, with $118 billion AUM, maintains that all asset classes and markets will revert to mean historical levels. Mr. Grantham’s strategy has garnered him a reputation for identifying speculative market bubbles as they move towards collapse.

In a 2007 letter to Fortune Magazine Mr. Grantham explained the near certainties of falling profit margins, a collapsing housing market and widening risk premiums.

In this interview, Mr. Grantham argues the post-COVID market rally is divorced from economic realities that are insurmountable by fiscal stimulus or a vaccine. This represents a growing, major bubble.

Mr. Grantham is an active philanthropist. The legendary investor has funded climate change centres at Imperial College London and the LSE. In 2019, Mr. Grantham dedicated over $1 billion to fight climate change.

This interview is open only to LSE students.
