In a historic and heartfelt tribute, Mercedes-Benz has approved a $2.5 million sculpture project to honor seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton a move that will see his legacy immortalized in bronze outside the brand’s iconic Brackley headquarters.

The statue will stand not only as a symbol of speed and dominance but also of Hamilton’s groundbreaking influence on and off the track. From winning six of his seven world titles with the Silver Arrows to pushing boundaries in diversity, sustainability, and social justice, Hamilton left a mark on Mercedes far deeper than tire rubber on tarmac.

💬 “This statue isn’t just for what Lewis achieved behind the wheel,” a senior Mercedes executive shared. “It’s for the way he carried himself when the cameras were off the integrity, the leadership, the purpose.”

Design plans reveal the statue will depict Hamilton in a victorious pose, one arm raised, helmet tucked under the other surrounded by subtle engravings of his championship years, key quotes, and the names of every team member who worked alongside him during his Mercedes era.
