‘Drug driving’ isn’t all about illegal substances. You could still be breaking the law while on legal medications if they interfere with your ability to drive safely.

As you’d expect, the punishments are hefty - with a year ban being the minimum penalty.
So, you need to talk to your doctor if you take any of the following:
🟣 Amphetamine, for example dexamphetamine or selegiline.
🟣 Clonazepam.
🟣 Diazepam.
🟣 Flunitrazepam.
🟣 Lorazepam.
🟣 Methadone.
🟣 Morphine or op**te and opioid-based drugs, for example codeine, tramadol or fentanyl.
🟣 Oxazepam.
🟣 Temazepam.

It's illegal to drive if you're unfit to do so because you're on legal or illegal drugs, or you have certain levels of drugs or medicine in your blood
